If you require your work to be returned to you and can't collect it at a meeting, please enclose an SAE.
We look forward to reading your words!
Short stories should be no longer than 1500 words.
Poems or life writing are warmly welcomed, as too is research-based writing. Local history would be a good subject.
All entries should preferably be typed - we can help with this if you do not have access to a computer.
The only rule is that entries should be original and under no copyright.
There is no charge for your written entry (there is a general entry charge of £2 to attend our meetings - no joining fee or subscriptions.)
You or a representative will be invited to read your work at the meeting if it is selected to be read.
Please submit your entry at least 4 days ahead of the next meeting - thank you!
